FAQs for the Post-licensing Course
What are the renewal requirements?
Your first license is valid for one year. During the first year you must complete 30 hours of an approved Post-Licensing Course.Â
I have experience from another state (includes Nevada). Do I still have to take post-licensing?
Perhaps not.  NAC 645.4442 states that post-licensing is not required of a person who holds an active license in another state or held another license in Nevada within 5 years of the date of licensure. If you think this might apply to you, we suggest you call the Division at (702) 486-4033 and choose the "licensing" option to verify your requirements.
